Tom Forster Education Opportunity
Tom Forster will be visiting Revolution Gymnastics the week of Nov 1st. They wanted to open up their Tuesday morning staff training to the clubs in the state. Tom will do a 3 hour training session on developmental bars ages 4-7. He will touch on conditioning, shaping, swinging and circling. This is great opportunity to learn from the very best. Tom is currently the National Bar Staff for USA gymnastics.
The coaches clinic will be Tuesday morning, Nov 1st, 9:30-12:30 at Revolution Gymnastics in Cross Lanes.
$50 single

2016 State Meet Bid
There has already been interest in hosting the 2016 State Meet. If you hare interested in hosting state meet, please completely fill out the bid form. Guidelines for hosting the state meet can be found in the WV Handbook, which is also on the state’s website. The deadline to submit a bid is December 1st.

2016 Fall Clinic Reminder
We are still accepting registration for the 2016 Fall Clinic, hosted by WVGTC on October 8-9.
Registration will be $25 per athlete and will include Levels 4-10 and Xcel Silver-Diamond. Level 4’s should already have their glide kip before attending. The registration deadline for the clinic is September 16th.
Entry forms should be emailed and checks (one per gym) are to be mailed to myself and made out to WVUSAGym.
There is a scheduled meeting for that weekend that will include State Handbook and JO Update.

2016 State Clinic Update
The clinic is scheduled for October 8,9 at the WVGTC (not the university) and will follow a similar format as last year. This will allow coaches to take advantage of equipment that some gyms may not have and judges will be available to critique skills and routines. In addition, coaches will be available on each event to help with corrections or answer questions that people may have.
This will be a sanctioned event, so make sure your gymnasts and coaches memberships are current.
