Attention Region 7! IMPORTANT

The Region 7 Committee voted to lower the 2023 Level 8 Regional Championship qualifying score from a 35.00AA obtained at the state meet to a 34.00AA.

Please note – that means the petitioning score is now a 35.00AA.

To be clear: For the 2023 season all Level 8 athletes who score a 34.00AA or higher at their State meet will be qualified to Regionals.

9:00 AM Xcel Bronze whose birthday is on or after 2/25/2015

12:00 PM Xcel Bronze whose birthday is on or before 1/21/2015 and ALL Level 2’s

3:00 PM Xcel Gold

Saturday March 25th
8:00 AM Levels 4/5, Xcel Platinum

12:00 PM Levels 6/7

3:30 PM Levels 8/9/10, Xcel Diamond/Sapphire

Sunday March 26th

9:00 AM Xcel Silvers whose birthday is on or after 2/14/2013

12:00 PM Xcel Silvers whose birthday is on or before 1/29/2013 and ALL Level 3’s

Below is the general schedule for the 2023 WV State Meet. As soon as all details have been worked out, a communication will go out to coaches to let them know what sessions their athletes compete in if their level is split.

Friday, March 24

9 a.m. – Xcel Bronze

12 p.m. – Xcel Bronze/Level 2

3 p.m. – Xcel Gold

Saturday, March 25

8 a.m. – Levels 4/5/Xcel Platinum

12 p.m. – Levels 6/7

3:30 p.m. – Levels 8/9/10/Xcel Diamond/Xcel Sapphire

Sunday, March 26

9 a.m. – Xcel Silver

12 p.m. – Xcel Silver/ Level 3

The sizing was left off order form. Apparel sizes run CXS – AXXXL. Please list the size and amount of shirts by apparel line.

Please use the form emailed to you, by WVUSAG, to declare your gymnasts for the 2023 WV State Meet. It is due back by February 15, 2023. ** Once you declare your gymnast a certain level, they cannot compete anything else that season.

Please use the following link to register any gymnast who prequalifies for Xcel Regionals. They will need a 9.2 for IES or 36AA. Remember to also register them in meet maker.

We are deeply sorry to say, that due to unforeseen circumstances, we must cancel the state clinic for this weekend. Coaches please check your email for any further details.

We are excited to be able to hold the WV State Clinic again.  It will be held the weekend of September 24-25, 2022 at WVGTC.  We do have visiting clinicians set up to come in, lead by head clinician, Tony Eusini.  Tony is a coach, judge, clinician, and director at Woodward Gymnastics Camp. This clinic is for gymnasts in level 4-10 and Xcel Gold-Sapphire.  We will have a schedule, once everyone is registered, to let you know what levels will be on what day.  
The gymnasts are responsible for bringing their own lunch for lunch break.  Lunch will be provided for coaches.  During lunch break we will have a coaches update.   
Registration is now open through Friday, September 16th.  The cost is $35 per gymnast.  Please register your gymnasts as soon as possible on USAG. Money will be due by Wednesday, September 21st.  Please make checks payable to WV USAG and can be sent to:Chelsi WebbP.O. 328 Glen Daniel , WV 25844
