State meet declarations are due February 15, 2018.  Please use the updated 2018 Declaration Form  form and send it to Adam at wvusag@gmail.com.   All gymnasts must be declared, even if not yet qualified, in order for them to be eligible to compete.  Entry forms and checks should be mailed to Bozhi’s by March 2, 2018.

State Meet Qualifying Scores:

• Levels 2 – 7……… 30 AA
• Levels 8 – 10……. 32 AA
• There is no qualifying score for Xcel
• Individual Event Specialist (IES)
  • Must be declared as an IES by declaration deadline, and declare specific events
  • Required to score a minimum of 8.5 on each declared event

Make sure to submit Senior gymnasts with level declarations, in order to ensure we have to correct number of gifts for the gymnasts.

Just a reminder, level 8 regional qualification score was changed to a 35 AA in June.

Please remember that as of August 1, 2017 USA Gymnastics as changed the mobility scores.  If a gymnast is ineligible for their declared level then they will not be able to compete in the state meet.

Bozhi’s Gym Nest will be hosting the 2018 WV State Meet.

The event will be held at Spring Valley High School, in Huntington, WV. More information will follow.

2018 State Meet Bid Form

If you have any questions about the form or what is required to be able to host the state meet, please inquire by email. As the Committee’s State Meet Coordinator, Chelsi Webb will assist in the organization of the State Meet as a whole.

Our state meet has been scheduled for the weekend of March 16-18, 2018.  If you are interested in hosting the meet, the bid form will be available September 1, 2017, and will be due December 1, 2017.
