Remembering Jerry Spencer

The WV gymnastics community lost a very special man on Thursday – Jerry Spencer. Jerry founded the very 1st private club in WV, Glendale Gymnastics. Almost all WV gymnasts current and past, have come through his gym doors in some capacity. Jerry was a fixture in the WV gymnastics community for over 50 years. He had a special love for children that extended beyond gymnastics into his 34 year teaching career. WV Gymnastics extends our condolences to his wife Danny, sons Lance, Drew and Matt and their extended families.

Additional State Meet Information

Session times and dates should be posted shortly. We are aware that people are trying to make travel arrangements, but there is a process that must be followed according to USA Gymnastics Rules and Policies for state meet. Once the schedule and age groups are finalized by the WV State Committee, information will be distributed to all of the gyms via email and posted online.

Please send all registration forms and payment to Gymniks at 405 31st street Vienna, WV 26105, Attn: State Meet. Please also email a copy to liz@gymniks.com. Registration and payment are due March 6th. Make checks out to “WV State GCT.”

Checks for t-shirts, packages, and program ads can be put together and made out to GCT. Contact your club about placing your order.

Do not combine those with the registration, as it is made to WV State GCT.
