2016 WV State Meet
The 2016 WV State Meet is scheduled for March 12-13.
An updated bid form will be provided in the upcoming months and the deadline will remain as December 1.
Level 8 Vault Change
There has been a change for how level 8 vaulting works. Originally, a level 8 could preform 2 vaults and they would be awarded the higher of the two scores.
With the recent change to the rules, level 8’s will be rewarded the score of the second vault regardless of score. The intend is to increase safety for this level. For example, if a level 8 scores a 9.2 on vault and scratches the second vault, they will be awarded the 9.2. If they were to do the second vault and were to roll out of it and score an 8.7, they would be awarded the 8.7.

2015 State meet entries and fees are due by March 2nd.
Any late submissions are subject to fines according to USA Gymnastics Rules and Policies.
Urgent Info About the 2015 WV State Meet
There is a very large volleyball tournament with over 1000 participants being held in Huntington on the same weekend as state meet. WV Clubs may want to inform any parents that will be needing a hotel to book now for the weekend as they seem to be filling up all over the area already. They can always cancel a day they may not need, because Bohzi’s will not be able to get a schedule out this early.
Due to the reduced availability in the area there will not be any particular host hotel.
WVUSAG Board Meeting
Be sure to read through the board meeting’s minutes. There have been a lot of changes made to the state’s policy.
USAG Policy Update
There has been a USAG policy update stating that unaffiliated athletes may no longer compete in USA Gymnastics sanctioned events. All athletes participating in USA Gymnastics sanctioned events must be affiliated with a USA Gymnastics member club.
Member Club Clarification
In case someone did not receive the USAG update, gyms are now required to become member clubs to be able to host or participate in a USAG sanctioned event.
2015 State Meet
There have been a few questions about where and when the 2015 WV State Meet will be held.
